Handwoven Turmeric Wild Silk Scarf Madagascar

Handwoven and naturally dyed scarf from raw mulberry silk in Madagascar. Beautiful and rich turmeric color and a light shine to it. The women of Soatanana ("Good Town") weave these fabric using techniques that have been handed down mother-to-daugther for generations. 

Each piece is made from sustainably sourced wild silk cocoons hand-gathered  from the native tapia forests. From a small non-profit working with specie conservation and reforestation initiatives in Madagascar. Eco-friendly and Fair Trade Certified.
