Handwoven organic cotton cafe curtains. Natural unbleached white colored fabric with a medium value new indigo blue woven inlay design. Simple elegance. We were thrilled to find this small workshop while traveling in Gujarat, India. This gauzy fabric allows just the right amount of light through.

Cotton is a crop that is usually grown using a lot of chemicals and water. But not organic cotton. Growing organic cotton helps preserve the natural environment and saves water- both very important everywhere and especially in India!

Kutch Jii Chhap was started by four dedicated colleagues who worked for a large NGO, growing organic cotton, but felt the NGO was stagnant, not interested in innovating. With an eye on innovation and wanting to make a positive impact, they decided to form their own company - representing organic cotton farmers and weavers.
