Handwoven Organic Cotton Patchwork Quilt 2 Queen India
Handwoven organic kala cotton quilt. This patchwork quilt has 4 different striped patterns in chalky red and natural white, and solid natural white blocks. There are rows of white hand stitching one inch apart. The back is solid natural white color cotton. It is two layers with a lightweight cotton batting inside. Super soft. We are thrilled to be working with this group of weavers of the Kutch. From the organic cotton farmers to the dyers to the weavers to the quilters, many hands contributed to the creation of this quilt.
Organic cotton is beneficial for the environment as there are no chemicals or pesticides used to grow it and it takes less water than commercial cotton growing. Read more about the organic cotton weaving group on our blog.

Care: This can be machine washable if careful and infrequent, after all, it's hand woven and hand stitched.
