Handwoven Doi Saket cotton pillow from Laos and Thailand. The base of the pillows are handwoven cotton from Oudomxay, Laos while the embroidery is done in Doi Saket, Thailand. Embroidered by Mrs. Meh

100% handspun cotton and natural indigo dye. Traditional embroidery dok (star) and khom (circle) motifs. From Tikkiwallah, a designer led artisan and textile craft studio working with women in both Laos and Thailand. The back of the pillow has a few "stars" that represent the signature of the maker.

Their collaborative relationship yields textiles and products that showcase heritage skills and traditional motifs. Tikkiwallah is committed to helping create a demand for traditional fibers, such as hand spun cotton, silk, hemp, and piet jungle vine instead of cheaper machine-made processed materials and plastics.
