Hand Woven and Embroidered Pantalones Lumbar Pillow Guatemala (12 x 22)

Exquisite hand embroidery done by women in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. This piece is from a pair of traditional pantalones (men's pants) of the Tz'utujil Maya of Santiago Atitlan. Very fine detail in each different bird. The birds are whimsical showing the artists unique style and have beaded eyes. Back is grey cloth with piping.

Embroidery colors: lavender, white, green, navy blue, purple, deep red, yellow, and more. Back is a deep blue cloth with piping. We have two, each a little unique.
