Hammered Large Silver Earrings Mali

Hand crafted large hammered sterling silver earrings from Mali. 

These earrings are often referred to as "Fulani Earrings" as the Fulani people of Mali traditionally elaborate gold earrings in varios sizes to adorn themselves and show their wealth. Some so elaborate and heavy that yarn was used to wrap around them as a way to alleviate some of the weigh of the gold.

With a modern adaptation, these beautiful sterling silver earrings are more light weight while maintaining a traditional aesthetic.
