Embroidered Sage Pantalones Lumbar Guatemala (13x24)

Exquisite hand embroidery done by women in Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. This piece is from a pair of traditional pantalones (men's pants) of the Tz'utujil Maya of Santiago Atitlan. Very fine detail in each different bird. The birds are whimsical showing the artists unique style and have beaded eyes. The pillow was made by the mighty women of UPAVIM.

Embroidery colors: sage, brown, blue, lavender, yellow, red, aqua, and more. Back is the same stripped cotton cloth with sage piping and a hidden zipper.
