Kamba Sisal Medium Basket by Anna - Kenya

Handwoven and naturally dyed sisal Kamba basket by the DNRC Kamba Women Weavers in Eastern Kenya. Each basket has the name of the maker and the village they are from. It is made from natural sisal fibers. This group works to improve the livelihoods in one of Kenya's most marginalized counties by developing and sharing reforestation techniques, building social capital, and working to create more sustainable sources of income.
